The Whitestone LCN goes public

Little Wonders, Papakaio School, St Joseph's, Weston and St Kevin's College are the Whitestone Learning and Change Network (LCN)

Kia ora and a huge thank you to our very supportive and proactive Whitestone team for your encouragement last week.

It was certainly a fruitful day on Thursday 5th June at the Southern Regional LCN meeting in Christchurch. It was a positive step forward for our Whitestone working relationships with a real sense of unity across our network and a sense of belonging to our Southern LCN. Our plans to bring together staff from all of our schools next term for two sessions to collaborate on network learning progressions from early years to high school is exciting. We will share this with you Little Wonders and plan how we can make this work with you too.

Believing in the immense learning power of our network capabilities as we share our expertise and respond proactively as "the Whitestone LCN" irrespective of individual school identity is the way forward for all of us. This first little step with staff will lead to us taking bigger learning and change steps with our learners, parents and our community. Thank you Gloria for participating enthusiastically and being what we know will become the important piece of that big puzzle as we learn to collaborate with our wider community too.

Where to from here?
